 In_Port Data Presentation Software In_Port is a program developed by Soil Instruments to take readings from our digital Inclinometers. It uses Bluetooth wireless technology to communicate with the Inclinometer, receive the readings, perform checksums and store the results. In_Port also hold details of active boreholes, allows for new boreholes to be set up and prompts the user through the reading process. In_Port is the set-up and borehole logging software for the Soil Instruments range of Digital Inclinometers. The same program can be used to read Vertical, Horizontal or Inclined inclinometers. A mix of differently oriented boreholes can even be defined for the same site. It uses Bluetooth wireless technology to take and receive readings from an inclinometer, and saves those readings to a database. They can then be downloaded to a text-format file, which can then be transferred to a PC, using Microsoft’s ActiveSync software, for later loading into In-Site analysis software.
