V-Notch Weir Monitor

The V-Notch Weir Monitor is used to measure the change in water levels behind a V-Notch Weir drainage monitoring system. The main component is a cylindrical weight suspended from a vibrating wire transducer.

As the water levels changes, the changing bouyancy force on the cylinder acts directly on the transducer, which is then calibrated into engineering units.

High sensitivity and stability.
The force transducer is set to zero.
